Qualifications
| A qualified candidate possess the following: Incumbent should have a working knowledge of sailing procedures and ability to instruct sailing and power boat techniques. Incumbent should have a small boat sailing instructor qualification from US Sailing or equivalent, e.g., US Navy MWR Instructor Certification OR documented local sailing instructor certification equivalent OR US Sailing Basic Keelboat Instructor Certification OR Basic Keelboat Instructor Trainer Certification OR other Nationally recognized organizations (the American Sailing Association (ASA) and US Coast Guard certification). Two years experience in teaching and leading groups. Experience in operating small power boats. Must be a mature individual who is professional and capable of exercising control of group of people |
