Qualifications
| Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: provide inpatient pharmacy services and the preparation of the complete range of sterile products, parenteral, enteral and parenteral nutrition, and intravenous additives for a large medical facility; take steps to prevent drug reactions or interactions; ensure correct labeling, handling and storage of pharmaceutical products; advise physicians of possible safety issues; compound drugs as prescribed, including IV and chemotherapy drugs; teach pharmacy techniques/procedures to other pharmacists; conduct studies of drugs to determine their effectiveness and safety. |
